On March 31, 2016, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) published the current version of Directive 017: Measurement Requirements for Upstream Oil and Gas Operations (D017). That update contained several revisions proposed by the Industry Measurement Group (IMG) and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP). Since then, the AER measurement specialist has continued to meet with the IMG’s Conventional and Thermal sub-committees to discuss additional proposed revisions to requirements in D017. This presentation described the accepted proposed revisions and the implementation timing.
